Impact of the Circulation Water Inlet Pipe on the Film and Flow Characteristics Based on Finite Element Analysis

Abstract
Problems including edge warping,vibration and wrinkling of the film are easily induced by uneven water flow pressure in conventional rinsing tank devices of coating equipment.To improve the transmission stability of the film,the rinsing tank used for alkaline diaphragm equipment is taken as the research object.Based on the finite element analysis method,influences of branch outlet parameters and layout forms of single and double circulation inlet pipes on film stress and internal water flow of the tank are systematically investigated.A three-dimensional simulation model is built via SolidWorks Flow Simulation.Mesh division is carried out and boundary conditions are defined.Static mechanical analysis is implemented with SolidWorks Simulation,and film displacements are quantified accordingly.From simulation results,when branch outlets are arranged 100 mm away from the film under a single circulation inlet pipe,the maximum pressure of 1.32 Pa is obtained,and the maximum displacement of the film reaches 14.73 mm.Uniform film pressure can be achieved by concentrating branch outlets at the pipe root and reducing the aperture from the inlet to the root.When double circulation inlet pipes are adopted,the maximum pressure exerted on the film is decreased to 0.67 Pa,and the maximum displacement is reduced to 1.72 mm.Furthermore,adverse effects of circulating flow on impurity discharge can be weakened when inlet pipes are arranged far from the feeding direction of the film.Uneven pressure distribution on the film is effectively alleviated by the proposed structural optimization scheme,and operational performances of the rinsing tank device are remarkably improved.关键词
