Drivers,Mechanisms and Pathways for Upgrading China's Position in the Global Agricultural Value Chain
摘要
Abstract
The upgrading of China's position in the global value chain is a systematic,complex,and dynamic process,reflected in both rising export earnings and increasing export technological complexity.By participating in the international division of labor,the agricultural sector can leverage scale effects,competitive advantages,and industrial linkages to simultaneously elevate its economic and technological status.However,given the increasingly complex international environment,China's agriculture still faces constraints when expanding into international markets,such as limited participation in high value-added segments,rising market uncertainty,and monopoly pressures from large multinational corporations.This paper analyzes the internal and external factors driving the integration of China's agriculture into global value chains,as well as their underlying mechanisms,and outlines the primary pathways for upgrading its position.It proposes six pathways across product upgrading,functional upgrading,and chain upgrading.Furthermore,it offers practical implementation strategies at both the enterprise and industry levels,providing a reference for the high-quality development and higher-level opening-up of China's agriculture.关键词
