A Review of Methods for Determining Firing Temperatures of Ancient Ceramics in Ceramic Archaeometry
摘要
Abstract
With the development of ceramic archaeometry,the application of modern scientific and analytical techniques in ancient ceramics research is becoming increasingly widespread.As a core parameter for decoding the manufacturing tech-niques and technological evolution of ancient ceramics,firing temperature holds immense research value.This paper sys-tematically reviews the primary scientific methods currently used to determine the firing temperatures of ancient ceramics.It details the research principles,operational procedures,and the respective advantages and disadvantages of the thermal expansion method,M ssbauer spectroscopy,and various spectroscopic analysis techniques.By comparatively analyzing the detection precision and applicable scopes of these different methods,this paper aims to provide a scientific basis for the study of ancient ceramic craftsmanship and to explore the profound significance of archaeometry in deepening our historical understanding of ceramics.关键词
