Analysis of Current Situation and Future Main Research Directions of Indica Hybrid Rice Breeding in China
摘要
Abstract
China's hybrid rice has a planting area of approximately 17 million hm2 in recent years,among which indica hybrid rice accounts for 97.0％,playing an important supporting role in China's rice production and grain supply system.Continuously advancing breeding technology innovation and variety upgrading of indica hybrid rice serves as a key measure to enhance grain production capacity and ensure national food security,which possesses important practical and strategic significance.Based on the regional trial data in 3 944 times of national approval of indica hybrid rice varieties from 2003 to 2025,this paper systematically analyzed the current situation and major problems of indica hybrid rice breeding in China.With consideration to breeding practices and industrial development demands of hybrid rice,this paper defined future main research directions of indica hybrid rice breeding and put forward targeted strategies and suggestions.关键词
