艾灸联合敷脐治疗癌性腹水患者的疗效分析
Efficacy analysis of moxibustion therapy combined with umbilical application in patients with malignant ascites

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of moxibustion therapy combined with umbilical application of Fu Zheng Xiao Shui(strengthening healthy Qi and eliminating edema)formula in patients with malignant ascites. Methods:A total of 84 patients diagnosed with malignant ascites were enrolled in this research.The subjects were randomly divided into a control group and a combined group using a random number table,with 42 patients per group.Patients in the control group received umbilical application of Fu Zheng Xiao Shui formula alone,while patients in the combined group received the same treatment plus moxibustion therapy.The treatment course lasted for 4 weeks.After treatment,the clinical total effective rate,ascites control efficacy,and body mass response rate were compared between the two groups.Changes in the abdominal circumference,quality of life,and daily urine output were observed and recorded. Results:Statistically significant differences were found in the clinical total effective rate,ascites control efficacy,and body mass response rate between the two groups after treatment(P<0.01 or P<0.05),with the combined group showing superior outcomes in all three measures.Before treatment,no statistically significant differences in the abdominal circumference and Karnofsky performance status(KPS)score were observed between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,both groups showed significant reductions in the abdominal circumference(P<0.01)and significant increases in the KPS score(P<0.01);the combined group achieved better results than the control group in these two measures.Daily urine output increased significantly in both groups during treatment(P<0.05),with the combined group showing a higher output(P<0.05). Conclusion:Moxibustion combined with umbilical application of Fu Zheng Xiao Shui formula exerts better therapeutic effects than the umbilical application alone for malignant ascites.This combined therapy can effectively alleviate ascites,reduce abdominal circumference,and improve body mass response and quality of life in the patients.关键词
