针刺配合脐灸治疗神经根型颈椎病的临床研究
Clinical study on the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy using acupuncture and umbilical moxibustion

Abstract
Objective:To observe the influence of acupuncture combined with umbilical moxibustion on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR). Methods:A total of 135 CSR patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly assigned to a routine acupuncture group,a drug group,and an observation group according to the random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The routine acupuncture group received treatment with routine point selection,while the drug group was administered with oral Jing Tong granules;in the observation group,additional abdominal-point acupuncture and umbilical moxibustion treatment were administered on the basis of routine acupuncture treatment.A total of 4 weeks of treatment were conducted.The score of TANAKA Yasuhisa's symptom scale for cervical spondylosis,visual analog scale(VAS)score,and neck disability index(NDI)score were observed before treatment,at the end of treatment,and 3 months after the end of treatment. Results:Compared with before treatment,the scores of the TANAKA Yasuhisa's symptom scale for cervical spondylosis,VAS,and NDI of patients in the three groups all improved at the end of treatment and 3 months after the end of treatment(P<0.001).At the end of treatment and 3 months after the end of treatment,the scores of the TANAKA Yasuhisa's cervical spondylosis scale,VAS,and NDI in the observation group were all superior to those of the other two groups(P<0.001). Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with umbilical moxibustion demonstrably alleviated the clinical symptoms of patients with CSR,enhanced their activities of daily living,and exhibited a low recurrence rate.关键词
