How to Improve Teachers'Digital Competence:Practical Approaches and Enlightenments of Digital Transformation in Swiss Vocational Colleges

Abstract
Teachers'digital competence in vocational colleges serves as a vital hub linking industrial digitalization,curriculum and teaching reform,and institutional organizational transformation.Supported by a multi-level governance structure involving the federal government,cantons and professional institutions,the development of teachers'digital competence in Switzerland has gradually formed a connected support system featuring strategic guidance,standard integration,organizational empowerment,professional learning and evaluative improvement.Its major practices include formulating digitalization strategies and guidelines for vocational education,incorporating digital competence into curricula and teachers'professional requirements,implementing the"Digital Facilitators"initiative to support teachers in collaborative and cross-boundary professional learning,and adopting self-assessment and institutional diagnostic tools to facilitate continuous improvement.Through translating industrial demands,coupling institutional elements,mobilizing key stakeholders and establishing developmental evaluation feedback,this system transforms macro digital strategies into learnable,practicable and evaluable professional competencies for teachers.Drawing on Switzerland's experience,the construction of teachers'digital competence in Chinese vocational colleges should shift from fragmented training to systematic governance,from general technical training to vocational scenario embedding,from individual learning to organizational empowerment,from one-off training to practice-based professional learning,from outcome assessment to developmental evaluation,and from equipment allocation to governance reform.关键词
