Abstract
Hainan possessed abundant germplasm resources of tropical rare and superior fruit trees,which constituted an important component of regional characteristic and high-efficiency agriculture.This paper reviewed the current status of exploitation and utilization of these fruit resources in Hainan,analyzed the links that remained to be improved in industrial development,and proposed targeted countermeasures.The planting scale of rare and superior fruit trees in the study area continued to expand,with steady increases in both planting area and yield for durian,rambutan,jackfruit,and pitaya.Notable achievements were made in variety breeding,with a total of 173 applications for new plant variety rights filed over the past three years.Market benefits were prominent,and initial progress was observed in the integration of agriculture with tourism as well as in industry-university-research collaboration.However,there remained room for improvement in the degree of resource exploitation and utilization,supporting technical systems,industrial chain extension,collaboration mechanisms,and brand marketing.Based on these findings,countermeasures were proposed,including enhancing the exploitation and utilization of resources,improving the supporting technical systems,promoting industrial chain extension and value addition,deepening industry-university-research collaboration,and strengthening brand building and market promotion.This paper provides a reference for the high-quality development of the rare and superior fruit industry in Hainan.关键词
