Abstract
This paper aims to optimize the spatial layout of grain drying centers in Shanwei City,ensure food security,and promote the development of the primary grain processing industry.Using spatial analysis of geographic data,field investigations,and telephone interviews,it evaluated the spatial distribution of rice planting,existing drying centers,supply-demand balance zones of drying capacity across the city.The results showed that the total early rice yield of Shanwei City in 2025 was mismatched with the monthly drying capacity of existing drying centers,and the distribution of drying centers was spatially unbalanced.Although two supply-demand balance zones exist,a considerable number of towns still faced large shortages in drying capacity.Furthermore,to improve the rationality of the spatial distribution and the effectiveness of daily capacity design for newly-built drying centers,this study employed a multi-stage GIS-based optimal site selection method to analyze towns with significant drying capacity shortages.Relevant suggestions were put forward for the future construction planning,key tasks and scientific site selection of grain drying centers in Shanwei City.The conclusion has important reference value for safeguarding food production security in Shanwei City.关键词
