Research On 5G Non-Terrestrial Network Technology Standardization
摘要
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the standardization process of Non-Terrestrial Network(NTN)technology for 5th Genera-tion Mobile Communication Technology(5G)and explore the evolution of the Release 17(R17)and Release 18(R18)of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP).First,the architectural characteristics of NTN are systematically introduced.Then,the protocol enhancements of the R17 and R18 are summarized by comparative methods.The feasibility of some functional enhance-ments of the R17 is analyzed in combination with relevant simulation data,as well as the functional enhancements of the R18.Fi-nally,based on a summary of existing standardization progress,this paper analyzes key development directions such as the deep in-tegration of NTN and Terrestrial Network(TN),AI-assisted network management,and the continuous evolution of Internet of Things(IoT)-NTN,providing a reference for further research and industrial practice.关键词
