Abstract
This research investigates the aging issues of silicone sealants in existing building curtain walls in Shenzhen,conducting sampling and analysis on sealants from five curtain wall structures with service lives exceeding 10 years.Experimental protocols were designed based on performance requirements for different sealant types.The results indicate that curtain wall inspections should prioritize a sequential evaluation of appearance,hardness,and tensile properties to efficiently identify high-risk areas.Additionally,rooftop weather-resistant sealants exhibit accelerated aging rates compared to vertical facade counterparts,necessitating heightened attention from maintenance teams.关键词
