加减半夏白术天麻汤治疗痰湿阻络型抑郁症的临床疗效观察
Therapeutic Effect of Modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction on Depression of Phlegm-Damp Blocking Collaterals Syndrome

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in the treatment of mild-to-moderate depression with phlegm-damp blocking collaterals syndrome and its influence on inflammatory factors.Methods:A total of 132 patients diagnosed with mild-to-moderate depression of phlegm-damp blocking collaterals syndrome in the Department of Mental Diseases,Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Xinjiang Medical University from January 2025 to January 2026 were en-rolled and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 66 cases in each group.The control group was given oral escitalopram,while the observation group was additionally treated with oral modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction on the basis of the control group,with a treatment course of 4 weeks.The changes in Hamilton Depression Scale-24 items(HAMD-24),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),TCM symptom scores,as well as serum levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-18(IL-18)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,and the clinical efficacy and safety were evaluated.Results:After treatment,the total scores of HAMD,PSQI and TCM symptoms,as well as partial related inflammatory factors in the ob-servation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The decreasing amplitudes of serum IL-1β,IL-18 and TNF-α in the observation group were larger than those in the control group(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of the observation group was superior to that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in liver and renal function between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Combined application of modified Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction and escitalopram can relieve depressive symptoms,improve sleep quality and TCM syndromes in patients.Its therapeutic mechanism may be related to inhibiting the expression of inflammatory factors,with favorable safety profile.关键词
