Abstract
The study focuses on the social media practices of rural young women in southern Fujian,construc-ting a tripartite gaze model comprising"virtual audience-acquaintance society-algorithmic system"to reveal the compounded effects of gaze mechanisms in the digital era.At the same time,the research subjects decon-struct urban aesthetic hegemony through dialect short videos,establish a women's mutual aid network to a-chieve adversarial performances,and use the"digital avatar"strategy to balance the public and private fields,transform rural cultural capital to achieve strategic compromises,and demonstrate the subject wisdom of digital survival.The research reveals that the collusion between platform algorithms and traditional patriarchy has giv-en rise to a new form of power structure—"data patriarchy"—in which rural women's cultural preservation practices become subject to dual exploitation:fulfilling the social function of digitizing local culture while sim-ultaneously trapped in the logic of traffic-driven digital labor.Against the backdrop of China's comprehensive modernization and rural revitalization strategies,this finding transcends the binary analytical framework of gaze theory,offering a theoretical entry point for understanding technological ethical paradoxes in urban-rural inte-gration and refining gender-inclusive development pathways with Chinese characteristics.关键词
