Application effect of continuous quality improvement model in the cleaning and disinfection management of Da Vinci Xi surgical instruments
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the application effect of continuous quality improvement(CQI)in the cleaning and disinfection of Da Vinci Xi surgical instruments in the central sterile supply department(CSSD).Methods:Taking the implementation of the CQI model reform jointly carried out by the Disinfection Supply Center and the Surgical Operating Room of the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University in January 2025 as the dividing line,1346 Da Vinci Xi surgical instruments cleaned using the conventional manual combined with mechanical cleaning mode from June 2024 to December 2024 were included in the control group, while 1346 instruments cleaned with the CQI model from January 2025 to June 2025 were included in the observation group. The cleaning quality, disinfection quality, incidence of adverse events, and physician satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:The observation group had significantly higher qualified cleaning and disinfection rate compared with the control group(P<0.05).Physician satisfaction was higher in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05).The overall incidence rate of adverse events in observation group were significantly lower compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The CQI model can effectively improve the cleaning and disinfection quality of Da Vinci Xi surgical instruments in the CSSD,reduce the incidence of adverse events, and enhance physician satisfaction.关键词
