Abstract
Objective To explore the preventive effect of auricular point pressing beans combined with Dexamethasone on postoperative 24 hour nausea and vomiting(PONV)in patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery.Methods A total of 120 pa-tients who underwent elective laparoscopic surgery at Zibo Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to October 2025 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the observation group(60 cases)and the control group(60 cases)using the random number table method.The control group was intervened with intravenous injection of 10 mg Dexamethasone before anesthesia induction.The observation group was intervened with auricular point pressing beans 1 day before surgery and regular pressing after surgery in addition to the intervention of the control group.The incidence of PONV 24 hours after surgery,the severity of PONV at different time points after surgery,and the rate of rescue medication 24 hours after surgery were compared between the two groups.Meanwhile,the occurrence of adverse reactions related to auricular acupressure beads in the observation group was recorded.Results The incidence of PONV 24 hours after surgery in the ob-servation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The visual analogue scale(VAS)scores at 6,12,and 24 hours after surgery in the observation group were lower than those in the control group at the same time points,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The rate of rescue medication 24 hours after surgery in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 5.17％,all of which were mild skin reactions.Conclusion Auricular point pressing beans combined with Dexamethasone can reduce the incidence of PONV 24 hours after surgery in patients undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery,alleviate symptoms,and reduce rescue medication.It has good safety and can be used as one of the preferred clinical schemes.关键词
