Research on Artificial Afforestation Technology and Comprehensive Benefits of Quercus variabilis

Abstract
Quercus variabilis,as a native precious broad-leaved tree species in China,possesses multiple values includ-ing ecological protection,economic utilization,and landscape restoration.It is an excellent choice for artificial afforesta-tion in arid and infertile mountainous areas and rocky mountains.This paper systematically expounds the key technolo-gies of artificial afforestation of Quercus variabilis,including seedling raising,site preparation,planting,and tending management.By combining the data from mixed afforestation comparative experiments,it analyzes the ecological,eco-nomic,and social benefits of pure Quercus variabilis forests and mixed forests.It highlights the current challenges in the artificial afforestation of Quercus variabilis and suggests measures for optimization and development,with the goal of providing theoretical guidance for cultivating artificial Quercus variabilis forests,ecological restoration,and the sus-tainable development of forestry in northern and subtropical mountainous regions of China.关键词
