The U.S."Military-Industrial-Media-Academic-Scientific Complex":Cognitive Warfare Tactics Against China and Countermeasures

Abstract
[Purpose]The purpose of this study is to dismantle the formation mechanism and operation mechanism of"military-industrial-media-academic-scientific complex",a new cognitive warfare tool,and analyze its main means and multiple hazards in cognitive war-fare against China.[Method]Utilizing a historical evolutionary analysis,this paper traces the development of this complex from its foun-dations during the Cold War to its full maturation in the 21st century.Simultaneously,from a systems theory perspective,it constructs a three-tiered analytical model characterized by"military leadership,corporate execution,and intellectual-media coordination".By exami-ning representative cases such as deepfakes and voice cloning,the study reveals the logic of cognitive manipulation empowered by Artificial Intelligence(AI).[Result/Conclusion]The study finds that U.S.style cognitive warfare has formed a complete closed-loop consisting of"strategic planning,technological empowerment,discourse modification,and cognitive anchoring".Through interest bundling,"re-volving door"mechanisms,and technological"black boxes",it severely tarnishes China's international image,disrupts the global techno-logical order,and intensifies bloc confrontation.The study also reveals that this complex exhibits four internal contradictions:industry-military conflicts of interest,ethical controversies in science,tensions over academic independence,and backlash against media credibility,thereby providing a breakthrough point for precise countermeasures.Accordingly,this paper proposes four counter-strategies:upholding the attribute of cognitive security as a public good to dissolve hegemonic legitimacy;constructing multilateral cooperation mechanisms to break cognitive isolation;strengthening defensive capabilities through technological empowerment and an autonomous academic discourse system;and advancing the rule of law in global cognitive governance to establish international norms of conduct.关键词
