Analysis of aeroradiometric uranium anomaly characteristics and uranium metallogenic conditions in the Guyuan-Jingyuan area, southwestern margin of the Ordos basin
摘要
Abstract
Low exploration level for sandstone-type uranium deposits in the Guyuan-Jingyuan area on the southwestern margin of the Ordos Basin, lead the key exploration factors remain unresolved, which include uranium prospecting potential and the key target sectors. To rapidly collect prospecting information,1:50 000 airborne radiometric survey was conducted in this area.Through line-by-line analysis and screening, six airborne radiometric anomalies were identified, two of which were selected for integrated ground verification using ground gamma-ray spectrometry, radon gas measurement, and geological mapping, combined with a comprehensive analysis of structural features interpreted from aeromagnetic data. The results indicated that the preferred airborne radiometric uranium anomalies,HFU-21 and HFU-24,are mainly hosted in the Liwaxia Formation of the Lower Cretaceous Liupanshan Group.Ground gamma-ray spectrometry revealed maximum measured uranium concentrations of 216 μg/g and 80 μg/g,respectively,accompanied by high soil radon concentration anomalies, indicating significant uranium enrichment.Furthermore, the two anomalous areas are with favorable uranium source, structural, and hydrogeological conditions.Comprehensive analysis suggests that the HFU-21 and HFU-24 anomaly sectors are favorable targets for uranium exploration, indicating considerable uranium metallogenic potential in this area.关键词
