益气芪药汤加减联合常规西药治疗2型糖尿病气阴两虚型患者的临床观察
Clinical Study of Modified Yiqi Qiyao Decoction Combined with Conventional Western Medicine for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus with Deficiency of Both Qi and Yin Syndrome

Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of modified Yiqi Qiyao Decoction on pancreatic islet function and inflammatory factors in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)patients with deficiency of both qi and yin syndrome.Methods Eighty T2DM patients with deficiency of both qi and yin syndrome treated at Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2023 to July 2024 were selected and divided into a control group or a treatment group by the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.Both groups received conventional Western medicine treatment,while the treatment group additionally received modified Yiqi Qiyao Decoction.After 4 weeks of treatment,the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.The following parameters were assessed before and after treatment:traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores,blood glucose indicators[fasting plasma glucose(FPG),glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c),and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2h PG)],pancreatic islet function indicators[C-peptide(C-P),fasting insulin(FINS)and homeostatic model assessment of insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)],as well as inflammatory factor indicators[interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),and C-reactive protein(CRP)].Results After treatment,the clinical effective rate was 95.00%(38/40)in the treatment group,higher than 77.50%(31/40)in the control group(P<0.05).TCM syndrome scores were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and were significantly lower in the treatment group(P<0.05).FPG,HbA1c,and 2h PG levels were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and were significantly lower in the treatment group(P<0.05).FINS and HOMA-IR levels were decreased,while the C-P level was increased in both groups(P<0.05),and these changes were more significant in the treatment group(P<0.05).IL-1β,IL-6,TNF-α,and CRP levels were decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and were significantly lower in the treatment group(P<0.05).No statistically significant difference was observed in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion For T2DM patients with deficiency of both qi and yin syndrome,modified Yiqi Qiyao Decoction exhibits definite therapeutic efficacy.It can reduce TCM syndrome scores,regulate blood glucose levels,improve pancreatic islet function,and decrease inflammatory factor levels,with a favorable safety profile.关键词
