Pathogenesis deduction of Suwen·Kelun
摘要
Abstract
Suwen·Kelun(Plain Questions·Treatise on Cough),as the foundational work of cough theory in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),has demonstrated enduring vitality for over two thousand years through its profound interpretation of pathogenesis and practical diagnostic and therapeutic methods.The theory that"all five zang-organs and six fu-organs can cause cough"breaks through the limitation of attributing cough solely to the lung,establishing an integrative perspec-tive on cough pathogenesis and revealing the basic pattern of pathogenic transmission from the zang-organs to the fu-organs.The viewpoint that"exposure to cold and consumption of cold drinks damages the lung"offers important insights for modern cough treatment.Based on Suwen·Kelun,this paper summarizes the symptoms,pathogenesis,treatment principles,and prescription essentials of cough related to the five zang-organs and six fu-organs.In conclusion,in-depth study and flexible application of the viewpoints in Suwen·Kelun,along with exploration of the etiology and pathogenesis of cough from a mul-tiple zang-fu perspective,provide crucial guidance for the diagnosis and treatment of refractory cough in modern medicine.关键词
