基于CiteSpace的经方治疗腹泻型肠易激综合征文献计量及可视化分析
Literature Metrics and Visualization Analysis of Classical Formulas for Treating Diarrhea-Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome Using CiteSpace

Abstract
Objective To conduct a bibliometric and visualization analysis of Chinese literature published between 2000 and 2025 on the application of classical formulas for treating irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).Methods Literature on classical formulas for treating IBS was retrieved from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)and Web of Sci-ence(WOS)databases.Visualization analysis of authors,research institutions and keywords in the included studies was performed using CiteSpace 6.4.R1.Results A total of 110 Chinese and 158 English articles were included,showing an overall upward trend in publication volume.Domestically,three authors published≥4 papers,forming major collaborative teams represented by CHEN Min,WANG Fengyun and TANG Xudong.Internationally,nine authors published≥4 papers,indicating greater foreign attention to this field than domestic.Seven domestic and international institutions published≥10 papers,primarily Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.High-frequency keywords included classical formulas,irritable bowel syndrome,gut microbiota,visceral hypersensitivity and de-pression."Network pharmacology","metabolomics"and"medication patterns"emerged as recent prominent keywords.Con-clusion Classic formulas represent a significant therapeutic direction in TCM for treating IBS.Over the past two decades,key research areas have included gut microbiota,formula-syndrome correspondence and TCM.Current research hotspots focus on medication patterns,gut microbiota,traditional Chinese medicine and metabolomics.Recent attention has shifted toward negative emotions like anxiety and depression induced by IBS-D.Integrating multiple research approaches,schol-ars are exploring IBS-D mechanisms based on classical formulas,with their medication patterns and therapeutic mecha-nisms potentially guiding future research.Currently,core researchers and institutions in this field remain scarce and inter-regional collaboration requires further strengthening.关键词
