Vertical Evacuation in High-Rise and Super High-Rise Buildings:A Critical Review of Evolving Strategies and Practical Implementation
摘要
Abstract
With the expansion of high-rise and super high-rise buildings, traditional stair-based vertical evacuation models have revealed limitations regarding efficiency, physical demand, and organizational capacity.Focusing on the evolution and practice of vertical evacuation paths in high-rise buildings, this study employs a structured literature review and bibliometric analysis to systematically examine the development logic and coordination mechanisms of stairs, refuge floors, evacuation elevators, and auxiliary evacuation devices.Through case studies of the Petronas Twin Towers and Shanghai Tower,it analyses the spatial organization and control strategies of multi-path evacuation systems. The results indicate a paradigm shift from"single-path protection"to"multi-path coordination".While evacuation elevators play a crucial role in improving evacuation efficiency and ensuring the safety of vulnerable groups, their target users, control logic, and regulatory definition remain contested. This study proposes a"time-phased,population-segmented,and path-coordinated"framework and envisions a future dynamic evacuation model based on intelligent sensing and performance-based evaluation, providing references for the refinement of codes and the innovation of evacuation practices in high-rise buildings.关键词
