From Symbolic Embedding to Value Consensus:Emotional Pathway to Sense-of-Community Consolidation as the Chinese Nation through Bamboo Culture in Yunnan

Abstract
Bamboo cultural symbols are the cultural symbols shared by all the Chinese nation.They carry the collective memory,cultural heritage and value system of all ethnic groups,echoing the historical roots,cultural reflection and core spirits of the community of the Chinese nation.This paper takes the bamboo cultural symbols in the multi-ethnic settlements in Yunnan as the research object,and expounds the logic of the bamboo cultural symbols evolving from the representation of concrete culture to the community consciousness of the Chinese nation by analyzing the triple embedding mechanism of symbol interaction,symbol narrative and differential symbiosis.Symbolic interaction lays the foundation for the communications,exchanges and integration of all ethnic groups,symbolic narrative condenses their collective memory and cultural identity,and differential symbiosis maintains the stable development pattern of pluralistic integration.The three types of inter-embedded mechanisms all take emotion as the internal driving force,with the four pathways of instrumental empathy,skill co-construction,festival-celebration integration and ecological memory as the practical carriers.They explain the internal logic of bamboo cultural symbols in their facilitation for the cultivation of the community consciousness of the Chinese nation,and provide a practical paradigm for interpreting the pattern of pluralistic integration and promoting national unity and progress from the perspective of semiotics.关键词
