Abstract
Organ fibrosis is the terminal pathological change of various chronic diseases.Grounded in the"collateral disease-substance-function"theory,Professor Zhang Zhiwen posits that fibrosis stems from visceral collateral depletion,wherein phlegm,stasis,and toxic pathogens obstruct the collaterals,impair Qi-blood perfusion,and disrupt the Yin-Yang and Ti-Yong equilibrium.This engenders a vicious cycle of mutual damage between visceral structure and function,characterized by a tenacious and refractory nature,with the core mechanism being collateral deficiency with stasis and mutual Ti-Yong impairment.Accordingly,he proposes a unified strategy of"using collaterals as the pivot to harmonize Ti and Yong"for treating different diseases alike.This entails stage-based syndrome differentiation,combined with unblocking and tonifying visceral collaterals(replenishing collateral Qi-blood and eliminating pathogens to restore patency)and regulating Ti-Yong(rebalancing organic structure and physiological function),ultimately aiming to repair the damaged organic substrate(Ti)andrestore normal function(Yong).Integrating clinical cases and modern research,the article further indicates that prescriptions formulated under this framework correlate intrinsically with multi-target anti-fibrotic actions,thereby substantiating the scientific validity of this unified therapeutic principle.关键词
