The relationship between the"brain-gut axis"and gastroesophageal reflux disease and the therapeutic approach of the Qinggan Hewei Decoction

Abstract
Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD)is a prevalent clinical digestive disorder with a steadily increasing incidence in recent years.Despite advances in modern medicine,limitations remain in achieving long-term efficacy and controlling recurrence.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),rooted in the core pathogenesis of"disharmony between the liver and stomach"and leveraging the perspective of the"brain-gut axis"theory,exhibits unique advantages through holistic regulation and individualized syndrome differentiation.Based on the characteristic of concurrent liver and stomach involvement in GERD,this review draws on modern medical insights into brain-gut interactions,analyzes the formula-syndrome correspondence and clinical evidence of Qinggan Hewei Decoction,and integrates typical medical cases with the pharmacological effects of its active components.It aims to reveal the clinical and basic research value of this decoction in positively regulating intestinal flora by modulating the neural pathways of the brain-gut axis,thereby providing theoretical and practical evidence for the TCM treatment of GERD.关键词
