Abstract
The bamboo industry is a green and low-carbon specialty industry that generates more income for local communities,and it is also a pillar industry for practicing the"Two Mountains"concept and boosting rural revitalization.Yihuang county in Jiangxi province is a major production area of moso bamboo in eastern Jiangxi,boasting the moso bamboo resources of 37 600 ha and a standing bamboo of 119 million culms.The county has initially shaped the coordinated development pattern of primary,secondary and tertiary bamboo industries through standardized bamboo forest cultivation,infrastructure upgrading,cultivation of business entities,scientific and technological innovation and integrated development of bamboo culture and tourism.Nevertheless,it still faces constraints including extensive management of bamboo forests,insufficient intensive processing,low product added value,weak brand influence,poor integration of three industries and inadequate industrial factors.In view of the bamboo resource and the current industry development in the county,the paper follows the principle of"optimizing primary industry,strengthening secondary industry and expanding tertiary industry"to systematically summarizes the practical achievements of the bamboo industry development in Yihuang and analyzes its existing bottlenecks.The pathways to the high-quality development of the bamboo industry are proposed,including improvement of bamboo forest quality and efficiency,extension of processing chains,empowerment of technological innovation,building of brands and marketing systems,deepened integration of three industries,and upgrading of factor-based mechanism,with the aim to advance the whole-chain upgrading and multi-form value appreciation of Yihuang's bamboo industry,and set an exemplary model for green transformation and rural income growth driven by county-level bamboo industries in hilly areas of southern China.关键词
