How to Enhance the Innovation Performance of Sports Listed Enterprises:An NCA and fsQCA Analysis based on the TOE Framework

Abstract
Innovation is the key to promoting high-quality development of the sports industry and building a modern sports industry system.Based on the TOE framework,this study combined NCA and QCA methods to examine the significant core conditions and configurational effects that influence the innova-tion capability of listed sports enterprises,and extracts corresponding innovation paths.The findings are as follows:(1)The innovative development of sports enterprises is the result of the synergistic effects of technology,organization,and environment;(2)R&D investment,digital transformation,business model design,and government investment significantly affect the innovation performance of sports enterprises,with government investment is the key factor of inno-vative development in the Chinese sports industry;(3)There are three high-level paths,namely,the"technical expertise-organizational adjustment"internal-ly driven innovation capability support path,the"technology-organization-environment"comprehensive innovation capability support path,the"government-led"innovation capability support path,and three low-level paths,namely,the paths of enterprise organizations eager for efficiency and inefficiency,technolo-gy and organizations eager for innovation and inefficiency,and imbalance between technology and environment leading to inefficiency;(4)Recommenda-tions:Focus on the R&D investment of sports enterprises themselves and avoid blindly pursuing digital transformation.Cultivate innovative talents based on multiple driving paths to avoid the side effects of excessively seeking innovative and efficient business model design.Strengthen the policy guidance for sports enterprises and leverage the key role of government subsidies and tax incentives.关键词
