Abstract
Based on the educational orientations of research-oriented,application-oriented,and skill-oriented universities,a comparative study was conducted from the perspective of student satisfaction.The study found that the hierarchical differentiation of student satisfaction among these three types of universities is gradually blurring,while the satisfaction characteristics remain independent across types.It is necessary to promote the coordinated development of stratified evaluation and classified evaluation,and facilitate the transformation of university evaluation from primarily stratified evaluation to primarily classified evaluation.Through the calculation using a random forest regression model,it was found that the teaching and research levels are the focus of common evaluation.Research-oriented universities focus on serving major national strategic needs,application-oriented universities emphasize characteristic development,and skill-oriented universities need to return to a practical orientation in education.It is suggested to grasp the differences between types,optimize the evaluation index system,introduce multiple evaluation subjects,strengthen the application of classified evaluation results,and improve the supporting mechanisms for evaluation.关键词
