Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of Zedoary Turmeric Oil intraperitoneal perfusion combined with the TP regimen(Paclitaxel+Cisplatin)compared with the TP regimen alone in the treatment of advanced epithelial ovarian cancer.Meth-ods A total of 240 patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer admitted to our hospital were selected as the study subjects and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 120 cases in each group.The control group received conventional intravenous chemotherapy with the TP regimen.The observation group received intraperitoneal perfusion of Zedoary turmeric oil injection in addition to the TP regimen.The short-term efficacy,serological indicators(CA125,HE4 levels),immunological indicators(CD4+,CD8+T cell ratios,and CD4+/CD8+ratio),CT-based tumor volume changes,incidence of adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment,with progression-free survival(PFS),and overall survival(OS)assessed through follow-up.Results The objective re-sponse rate(ORR)and disease control rate(DCR)in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(all P<0.05).After treatment,serum CA125 and HE4 levels decreased in both groups compared to before treatment,and showed significant differ-ences(all P<0.05).The proportions of CD4+T cells and the CD4+/CD8+ratio in the observation group were significantly higher,whereas CD8+T cells were significantly lower compared to in the control group(all P<0.05),CT imaging showed more significant tumor volume reduction in the observation group(P<0.05).Regarding safety,there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of major ad-verse reactions such as hematological toxicity and liver/kidney function impairment between the two groups(all P>0.05),and the observa-tion group did not exhibit additional severe adverse reactions.Follow-up results showed that both median progression-free survival(18 months vs.12 months)and median overall survival(32 months vs.24 months)were longer in the observation group than those in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion Zedoary Turmeric Oil intraperitoneal perfusion combined with the TP regimen for advanced epithelial ovari-an cancer can effectively improve short-term efficacy,reduce tumor marker levels,enhance patients'immune function,prolong survival,and does not increase chemotherapy-related toxic side effects,demonstrating good safety and being worthy of clinical application and promotion.关键词
