Abstract
The study of international discourse power is a significant topic in International Relations.The construction of a nation's international discourse power is a historical process and the result of the combined effects of narrative and practice advancing in parallel.The narrative evolution of China's international discourse has its unique origins and historical context.By reviewing the historical trajectory,multidimensional practices,current challenges,and future development of China's international discourse narrative,this article reveals the dynamic process of its formation,from exploration and integration to adaptation and,ultimately,to initiative and leadership.In the contemporary era,accompanying the evolution of China's role in the international system,the multidimensional practices carried out in International Relations have run parallel to its discourse narrative,forming the foundation of China's international discourse power.In the New Era,facing the"four deficits"in global development and governance,China has proposed the four major global initiatives—the Global Development Initiative,the Global Security Initiative,the Global Civilization Initiative,and the Global Governance Initiative—as well as the concept of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind.This not only reflects China's commitment to global governance but also highlights how,amidst"changes unseen in a century,"China utilizes a closed-loop mechanism of"discourse expression-action practice"to promote the evolution of International Relations toward democratization and multipolarity.In this process,although the cultivation of international discourse power encounters real-world challenges from various fronts,the core values of peaceful coexistence and win-win outcomes promoted through China's international discourse are constantly being validated and gaining broad recognition.Moving forward,they are certain to play a significant role in global development.关键词
