Abstract
To investigate the traffic congestion relief solutions for typical interchanges,a case in Tianjin was selected for analysis.Peak-hour traffic volumes were surveyed to identify the causes of congestion.Three optimization schemes,namely an at-grade intersection,a roundabout,and a grade-separated interchange,were pro-posed.Traffic simulation was conducted using VISSIM software.Based on comprehensive technical and eco-nomic evaluation,the roundabout scheme was recommended.After the implementation of the roundabout scheme,aerial photography using drones was carried out during morning and evening peak hours,which dem-onstrated the applicability and feasibility of the scheme.关键词
