Abstract
Objective To examine the association between scheduling rule compliance and workforce-gap early-warning accuracy in clinical departments.Methods A retrospective study was conducted using 84 department-month observations from seven clinical departments in 2024.Composite compliance and early-warning accuracy scores were derived from scheduling,at-tendance,human resources,and HIS data.Correlation and multivariable linear regression analyses were performed.Results Overall compliance was 87.4％±5.8％,and overall early-warning accuracy was 81.6％±7.3％.Compliance was positively as-sociated with early-warning accuracy(r=0.612,P＜0.001).Compared with the low-compliance group,the high-compliance group showed significantly higher early-warning accuracy.After adjustment,every 10-percentage-point increase in compliance was associated with a 5.6-percentage-point increase in accuracy.Conclusion Better scheduling standardization,night-shift staffing,qualification matching,and fewer temporary shift changes may improve the credibility of workforce-gap early warning and work-force allocation efficiency.关键词
