Introduction to LI Xiaobin's Experience in Treating Diminished Ovarian Reserve

Abstract
This paper introduces Professor LI Xiaobin's clinical experience in treating diminished ovarian reserve(DOR).The diminishment of ovarian reserve is a physiological process in women transitioning from normal to menopause.Premature or accelerated decline can lead to a series of endocrine disorders.DOR falls under the categories of infertility,irregular menstrual cycles,premature menopause,and amenorrhea in traditional Chinese medicine.Professor LI Xiaobin contends that kidney deficiency serves as the root cause for the pathogenesis of DOR,liver stagnation as the pivot,and spleen deficiency as the key,involving disorder of kidney,liver,and spleen,with deficiency interwoven with excess and deficiency in root and excess in branch.In treatment,different diseases should be treated with the same method,focusing primarily on tonifying kidney and replenishing essence throughout the course,while also soothing liver and regulating qi or invigorating spleen and replenishing qi as appropriate.Professor LI advocates for personalized prescriptions tailored to different age groups,different fertility needs,and different physiological stages.In addition,comprehensive regulation integrating dietary adjustments,regular routines,moderate exercise,and emotional counseling often yields good outcomes.关键词
