Abstract
Against the backdrop of the global green consumption trend,manufacturers of printing and dye-ing auxiliaries extensively adopt ecological claims such as"green","environment-friendly"and"eco-friendly"to secure competitive edges in the market.The EU Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition Directive(EmpCo)entered into force in 2024 and will be fully enforced in September 2026.Meanwhile,the revised Measures for the Administration of Green Product Certification and Labelling(2025 Revision)of China has been officially implemented since January 1,2026,meaning greenwashing activities are subject to stringent regulation worldwide.As a vital chemical input segment in the textile industrial chain,printing and dyeing auxil-iaries are confronted with mounting legal risks arising from their ecological claims.This paper systematically analyzes the current legal regulation framework,risk categories and compliant coping strategies regarding eco-logical claims of printing and dyeing auxiliaries,so as to furnish references for enterprises engaging in printing and dyeing auxiliary production to realize compliance in green marketing.The study reveals that the core re-form brought by anti-greenwashing regulation lies in the fundamental shift of burden of proof:enterprises are obligated to furnish credible data,factual evidence and certification documents to substantiate each environ-mental statement,and third-party certification has evolved from an optional bonus into a mandatory require-ment.Furthermore,four compliance approaches are proposed,namely adhering to the verifiability principle,im-proving the third-party certification system,establishing an internal compliance review mechanism,and bridg-ing gaps between domestic and international standards.The research concludes that enterprises that take the lead in finishing compliance transformation will gain first-mover advantages in market competition,whereas those persisting in vague claim tactics will be exposed to escalating legal repercussions and adverse market impacts simultaneously.关键词
