Discussion on the Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine Education of the CPC during the Democratic Revolution

Abstract
During the period of the democratic revolution,the Communist Party of China(CPC)actively explored Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)education in practice.From the initial establishment of TCM education during the Agrarian Revolutionary War,to the formation of a certain system and scale during the War against Japanese Aggression and continued development during the Liberation War,TCM education has always been an integral part of revolutionary healthcare and educational endeavors.The practice of TCM education by the CPC during the democratic revolution demonstrated characteristics such as shifting from meeting the needs of the revolutionary wars to serving people's needs,from field-led exploration to policy-driven advancement,and the integration of TCM with modern medicine.Its significant value is ref lected in promoting the development and improvement of revolutionary healthcare,exploring the path of integration of Chinese and Western medicine,and laying a solid historical foundation for TCM education in New China.The exploration and attempts in TCM education during the democratic revolution represent the first such endeavor under policy encouragement and support since modern times,hold a pioneering status in the modern and contemporary history of TCM,and may be regarded as a major historical source for TCM education in New China.It is essential to deepen research on its content,role,and impact to further explore its implications for TCM education in the new era.关键词
