Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of refined management based on the supply-processing-distribution(SPD)model on the management of medical consumables in operation rooms.Methods A total of 1 200 pieces of medical consumables commonly used in the operation room of Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Hospital from January 2024 to December 2025 were selected as study objects.The 600 pieces of medical consumables before the implementation of refined management based on the SPD model(from January to December 2024)were selected in the control group,and the 600 pieces after the implementation(from January to December 2025)were selected in the observation group.The consumption of consumables,work efficiency indicators,and satisfaction of medical staff were compared between the two groups.Results The total unreasonable consumption rate in the observation group was 1.33%,lower than 6.83%in the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The time required for single consumable requisition,surgical material allocation,monthly inventory counting,and inventory turnover duration in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of medical staff in the observation group was 95.00%,higher than 80.00%in the control group,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of refined management based on the SPD model in the management of medical consumables in operation rooms can significantly reduce the unreasonable consumption rate of various consumables,effectively control the operating costs of consumables,improve warehouse turnover efficiency and departmental work efficiency,and achieve higher satisfaction among medical staff.关键词
