Abstract
Based on the comprehensive exploration and research work conducted in various stages,this article systematically summarizes and organizes the geological characteristics of the Lifang mining area.It is located on the northern edge of the Late Paleozoic depression area in southern Wuyi,the mining area has a complex geological background.The barite deposits in this area are significantly stratabound,strictly occurring in the first and third lithological segments of the Cambrian Lintian Formation.The ore bodies occur in a layered and lenticular manner,with their occurrence basically consistent with that of the strata.Affected by the nappe structure and the Hufang rock mass,the occurrence of the ore bodies exhibits a spatial distribution characteristic of steep slopes in the north and south,and a gentle slope in the middle.The ore bodies have obvious enrichment centers in the II and III ore sections,and the deposit belongs to the"white chimney"type sedimentary metamorphic deposit.Through analysis and research on existing data,it is believed that the blank areas of the Early-Late Cambrian Lintian Formation in the central and eastern parts of the area,as well as the bottom of the cover layer of the Lower Cretaceous Xiadun Formation,are favorable areas for further prospecting.关键词
