Practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Pharmacists Participating in Collaborative Treatment of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine

Abstract
Objective To investigate the working mode of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)clinical pharmacists participating in collaborative treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Methods TCM clinical pharmacist in the oncology department of an integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine hospital was taken as an example,the path of carrying out pharmaceutical services through the collaborative treatment model of traditional Chinese and Western medicine was introduced,the application effect of this model was analyzed through case studies,and the value of TCM clinical pharmacists in the process of collaborative treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine was summarized.Results Under the collaborative treatment model of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,TCM clinical pharmacist provided pharmaceutical care was beneficial for monitoring and managing adverse drug reactions;and could assist clinical physicians in syndrome differentiation and prescription selection,promote the rational use of TCM and Western medicine;and could improve the quality of medical care by providing targeted medication education to patients.Conclusion The participation of TCM clinical pharmacists in the collaborative treatment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine can ensure the safety and effectiveness of patients'medication.However,it is required that TCM clinical pharmacists have rich knowledge of TCM and Western medicine,develop towards the direction of collaborative innovation of TCM and Western medicine knowledge,but cannot blindly copy the working model of Western medicine clinical pharmacy.关键词
