Abstract
Objective:To examine the reciprocal relationship between aesthetic reactivity and subjective well-being among first-year college students.Methods:A total of 246 first-year college students completed three surveys at 4-month intervals(T1,T2,T3)using the Aesthetic Responsiveness Assessment(AReA)and Subjective Well-Being Scale(SWB).Cross-lagged analyses were conducted using the lavaan package in R 4.3.2.Results:Signifi-cant concurrent and cross-time correlations were observed between the total scores of AReA and SWB(r=0.17-0.66,Ps＜0.001).After controlling for gender and age,T1 AReA positively predicted T2 SWB(β=0.12),and T2 AReA positively predicted T3 SWB(β=0.18).Conclusion:Aesthetic responsiveness exerted a stable positive effect on subjective well-being among first-year college students over time.关键词
