Research Progress on the Applications of Bacillus velezensis in Animal Husbandry
摘要
Abstract
Under the background of the comprehensive prohibition antibiotic use and the reduction of veterinary antimicrobial application,the development of safe and efficient microbial preparations has become an important strategy for promoting healthy animal production.Bacillus velezensis,an important member of the genus Bacillus,exhibits excellent environmental adaptability and produces a wide range of bioactive secondary metabolites,demonstrating great potential in animal nutrition regulation,disease prevention and control,and ecological restoration.This review systematically summarizes the taxonomic evolution,ecological sources,biological functions,stress resistance,and recent advances in the application of B.velezensis in animal production.In the future,with the deep integration of multi-omics technologies,synthetic biology,artificial intelligence,and fermentation technologies,functional characterization and application development of B.velezensis and its postbiotics will continue to advance toward precision and engineering-based approaches.B.velezensis is expected to become an important component of green and sustainable animal production and precision nutrition strategies,playing an increasingly significant role in establishing safe,efficient,and sustainable livestock production.关键词
