Application of Hemoperfusion in the Prevention and Treatment of Cardiopulmonary Bypass-Associated Organ Injury
摘要
Abstract
Cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB)is an indispensable supportive technique in cardiac surgery;however,the sys-temic inflammatory response syndrome and subsequent multi-organ dysfunction it triggers remain critical challenges that affect patient prognosis.Hemoperfusion(HP),a form of extracorporeal blood purification,integrates an adsorption device into the CPB circuit to selectively remove excessive inflammatory mediators,free hemoglobin,endotoxins,and other pathogenic substances from the circulation.From the perspective of the pathophysiological cascade associated with CPB,this review systematically elucidates the working principles of HP,its mechanisms of action in intervening at different injury pathways,the characteristics of adsorbent materials,available clinical evidence,and existing controversies,aiming to provide a theoretical reference for the precise and individualized application of HP in the perioperative period of cardiac surgery.关键词
