Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of hospice care nursing program guided by empowerment theory on the self-efficacy,decision-making participation,hope level and nutritional status of patients with advanced cancer.Methods A total of 116 patients with advanced cancer who received radiotherapy at Zhenjiang Hospital of Chinese Traditional and Western Medicine from April 2024 to September 2025 were selected and divided into two groups using a random number table method,with 58 patients in each group.During the follow-up period,5 cases were lost,and finally 111 cases completed the study(56 patients in the observation group and 55 patients in the control group).The control group received routine care,while the observation group received a refined hospice care nursing program guided by empowerment theory on this basis.The general self-efficacy scale(GSES)and other indicators were compared between the two groups.Results At discharge and 8 weeks after discharge,the scores of GSES,Patient Decision-Making Participation Scale,Herth Hope Index Scale,hemoglobin,albumin,and prealbumin levels in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Hospice care guided by empowerment theory can effectively enhance the self-efficacy and decision-making participation ability of patients with advanced cancer,improve their hope level and nutritional status,and reduce the risk of complications.关键词
