针刺八髎穴联合醋酸曲安奈德乳膏治疗肝肾阴虚型VLS的临床观察
Clinical Observation of Acupuncture at Baliao Points Combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide Acetate Cream in the Treatment of Liver-Kidney Yin Deficiency Type Vulvar Lichen Sclerosus

Abstract
Objective In order to explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture at Baliao points combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide c ream in the treatment of vulvar lichen sclerosus(VLS)in female patients with liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.Methods The clinical data of 64 patients with VLS were retrospectively analyzed.According to different treatment regimens,the patients were divided into observation group(acupuncture at Baliao points combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide cream)and control group(Triamcinolone Acetonide cream alone).The clinical symptom scores(including vulvar pruritus degree,skin elasticity,skin color and lesion scope),total TCM syndrome score,dermatology life quality index(DLQI),as well as L*,a* and b* values of the International Commission on Illumination Lab color system(CIELAB)were recorded before and after treatment in both groups.Results After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,a statistically significant difference was found(93.75％vs.84.38％),there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.001).The total clinical symptom score,TCM syndrome score and Dermatology Life Quality Index(DLQI)were markedly improved in both groups,all differences were statistically significant(all P<0.001),with the observation group showing superior improvements compared with the control group,a statistically significant difference was found(P<0.001).In terms of the CIELAB color system,the observation group achieved a better improvement in a* value than the control group,a statistically significant difference was found(P<0.05);the improvements in L* and b* values were comparable between the two groups,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).No obvious adverse reactions occurred in either group during the treatment period.Conclusion Acupuncture at Baliao points combined with Triamcinolone Acetonide cream has remarkable advantages in ameliorating liver-kidney Yin deficiency symptoms and local blood circulation(reflected by a* value).It is superior to single hormone therapy with good safety,which is worthy of clinical reference and application.关键词
