Abstract
Objective To study the application effect of early warning nursing based on risk assessment classification in preventing contrast agent extravasation in elderly patients.Methods A total of 150 elderly patients with enhanced imaging scans admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital,Sun Yat-sen University from January 2022 to March 2025 were prospectively selected as the research subjects.They were divided into a control group of 75 patients(received conventional care)and a study group of 75 patients(received early warning care based on risk assessment classification)according to the random number table method.The rate of contrast agent extravasation and other indicators were compared between the two groups.Results Compared with the control group,the study group had a lower rate of contrast agent extravasation,a higher success rate of one-time puncture,and better scores for pain in the extravasation area,maximum swelling diameter,and time for complete swelling resolution,and higher patient satisfaction scores(P<0.05).Conclusion The early warning nursing based on the risk assessment classification can prevent the occurrence of contrast agent extravasation during enhanced imaging scan in elderly patients,increase the success rate of puncture,alleviate the symptoms related to extravasation,and improve patient satisfaction.关键词
