Research Status of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Elements and Syndromes in Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors-Induced Hypothyroidism in Patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Abstract
Immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)have demonstrated unique advantages in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),significantly improving patients'survival outcomes.However,hypothyroidism induced by immune checkpoint inhibitors,as a common immune-related adverse event(irAEs),severely impacts patients'quality of life and prognosis.From the theoretical perspective of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome elements and syndromes,this paper systematically reviews and summarizes the current research progress in the modern medical understanding,TCM etiology and pathogenesis,distribution characteristics of syndrome elements,and clinical syndrome classification features of ICIs-related hypothyroidism in advanced NSCLC.This study aims to provide theoretical support for advancing the syndrome differentiation and treatment of TCM in managing hypothyroidism caused by ICIs in advanced NSCLC,thereby promoting the standardized application of TCM within this field.关键词
