复方阿胶浆改善气血两虚型癌因性疲乏患者免疫功能的探索性分析
Exploratory Analysis of the Effect of Fufang E'jiao Syrup on Immune Function in Cancer-Related Fatigue Patients with Qi and Blood Deficiency Syndrome

Abstract
Objective To preliminarily explore the effects of Fufang E'jiao Syrup on fatigue status and immune function in cancer-related fatigue(CRF)patients with qi and blood deficiency syndrome.Methods This was a single-center exploratory analysis of participants who completed lymphocyte subset testing in a previous multicenter,randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled clinical trial.A total of 13 CRF patients with qi and blood deficiency syndrome who had completed T lymphocytes,B lymphocytes,and natural killer cells(TBNK)lymphocyte subset testing were included,comprising 6 cases in the treatment group and 7 in the control group.Patients received either Fufang E'jiao Syrup or a matched placebo,20 mL orally three times daily for 42 consecutive days.The Revised Piper Fatigue Scale-Chinese Version(RPFS-CV),the Karnofsky performance status(KPS),and the Edmonton Symptom Assessment System(ESAS)were used to assess at baseline and at the end of treatment.Concurrently,peripheral blood TBNK were measured.Results After 6 weeks of continuous treatment,the treatment group showed significant reductions in total fatigue score and subscores in behavioral,affective,and sensory dimensions compared with baseline(P<0.05),while no significant improvements were observed in the control group.Limited by sample size,there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups post-intervention in fatigue scores,KPS scores,or ESAS scores(P>0.05).However,the treatment group showed a trend toward alleviation in emotional symptoms such as anxiety and depression.Regarding immune function,some lymphocyte subset indicators in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group before treatment(P<0.05),while no statistically significant differences were found between the two groups in any lymphocyte subset indicators after treatment(P>0.05).The between-group differences in the changes from baseline of absolute natural killer cell count(NK#)and double-negative T cell percentage(DNT％)were statistically significant(P<0.05).In the treatment group,absolute double-negative T cell count(DNT#)and DNT％increased compared with baseline,while B cell percentage decreased from baseline(P<0.05).Conclusion Fufang E'jiao Syrup may,to some extent,improve fatigue severity and selected indicators of immune function in CRF patients with qi and blood deficiency syndrome.关键词
