Analysis of Hou Wei's Medication Patterns for Lung Cancer Treatment Based on Data Mining

Abstract
Objective To investigate the medication patterns of Professor Hou Wei in the treatment of lung cancer using data mining techniques.Methods Traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for lung cancer treatment by Professor Hou Wei were collected and screened.Excel 2021 was used to perform statistical analysis of drug usage frequency,medicinal properties,flavors,meridian tropisms,and therapeutic effects.Association rule analysis was performed using the Apriori algorithm in SPSS Modeler 18.0,cluster analysis was conducted using the clustering function in SPSS Statistics 27.0,and co-occurrence networks were visualized using Cytoscape 3.7.2.Results A total of 8 692 medical records were included.Herbs with high prescription frequencies included Hedyotidis Herba,Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma,Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus,Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma,Poria,Armeniacae Semen Amarum,Herba Scutellariae Barbatae,Trichosanthis Fructus,Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma,Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix,Perillae Caulis,Chuanxiong Rhizoma,Perillae Fructus,Codonopsis Radix,Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex,Pinelliae Rhizoma,Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium,Fagopyri Dibotrydis Rhizoma,Astragali Radix,Ziziphi Spinosae Semen.These herbs primarily targeted the lung,spleen,and stomach meridians.The analysis identified 33 strongly associated drug combinations and 3 core prescriptions.Conclusion Professor Hou Wei's approach in treating lung cancer centers on the principle of strengthening the body and eliminating toxins,with treatments primarily focus on dispersing lung qi and strengthening spleen,regulating qi and resolving phlegm,and eliminating toxins and dispersing nodules.关键词
