Abstract
With the rapid urban development, the demand for land development under various complex topographic conditions has significantly increased. For special terrains such as slopes and mountainous areas,a stepped layout form of residential planning is an effective method to handle the contradiction between dense land utilization and good living conditions.Taking Greenland Beautiful Garden,a residential community with high elevation difference in Heshan,Guangdong,as a case for study, this paper establishes a tiered architectural layout model for terraced sites based on GIS-based topographic slope classification analysis. To address the 42-meter elevation difference on the site,a three-dimensional transportation system with hierarchical separation of pedestrian and vehicular traffic is designed, defining controlled indicators for vehicle longitudinal gradients, fire access loops, and accessible pedestrian systems. In view of the negative interface formed by the terraced retaining wall, the strategies of terraced waterscape, terraced greening and ecological slope stabilization with the native vegetation are proposed. The paper summarizes a comprehensive set of technical methods tailored to terrace residential communities in southern hilly regions, including tiered terrace zoning, vertical circulation planning, and ecological restoration of steep slopes, providing a practical reference for the full-process planning and design of similar residential projects with significant elevation differences.关键词
