Abstract
To objectively assess the actual effectiveness of the foot-and-mouth disease vaccination program for livestock in Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone and clarify the local epidemic background,this study conducted serological monitoring of livestock populations after each round of spring and autumn prophylactic vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease from 2022 to 2024.A total of 2,415 blood samples were collected from livestock.Qualitative analysis of specific antibody titers against foot-and-mouth disease was performed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The test results confirmed that the qualified rate of antibodies a-gainst foot-and-mouth disease remained stably above the safety threshold,and no severe animal epidemic outbreaks occurred in the zone during the period.These monitoring conclusions provide solid data support for the subsequent optimization of local epidemic pre-vention policies and the steady operation of the breeding industry.关键词
