Abstract
Since the S355NLH seamless steel pipe is used as a key material for construction and mechanical structure engineering in cold regions,therefore stringent requirements concerning strength,low temperature impact toughness and weldability for the pipe are put forward due to the harsh low temperature service conditions.According to the technical specifications of the low-temperature structural pipe,the chemical composition and manufacturing process are optimally designed.Trace alloying elements such as Nb,V and Ti are added on the basis of the ordinary carbon steel.Thanks to adopting multiple strengthening and toughening methods like micro-alloying and grain refinement,the material possesses not only high strength and excellent low-temperature impact toughness,but also favorable weldability.The S355NLH steel pipe as produced by normalizing process has all mechanical property indicators up to applicable standard,and has exc-ellent overall performance and outstanding low-temperature toughness,having fully met the service requirements for the structural pipe under low-temperature working conditions in cold regions,and providing a reliable guarantee for engine-ering structural materials as used in low-temperature environments.关键词
